I got hooked the normal way — I watched a table of women playing, heard the clatter of tiles, and thought, "okay, I need to know what's happening here." One lesson in, I was completely obsessed. And once I fell in love with it, I couldn't keep it to myself — so now I teach beginners, because watching from the sidelines is way less fun than actually being at the table.
